Type FSD-blade holder
The spring hardness of the elastic FSD-holder equals that of a common back-up blade. Up to an overhang of 35 mm to the machine holder, it does not need any further support. Suitable for blade strips of up to 250 µm thickness. Thin blade strips of up to 100 µm require an additional support strip in the plug-in slot.
​Application field: mainly decorative prints, application of varnishes or adhesives for laminating jobs.

Type F-blade holder
The elastic F-holder is used in the common arrangement with additional back-up blade. Depending on thickness, the inserted strip replaces the pre-bevelled lamella tip. Due to the friction between back-up blade and F-holder, it provides the common arrangement with finely tuned spring effect and vibration damping. We also supply matching stainless steel back-up blades. If
the overhang to the machine holder is smaller
than 20 mms, the back-up blade becomes obsolete. The F-holder is suitable for blade
strips of up to 150 µm thickness.
